Chili Chicken Noodles are quite possibly the most delicious combination of these 3 food items – chilies, chicken, and noodles. This Indian-Chinese recipe is inspired from the street food stalls of India. Using a sauce mix of Ketchup, Soy Sauce, Fish sauce, and Red Chili sauce gives the noodles the heat we all need to beat the winter blues.
Ingredients:
Vegetables & Noodles-
1. Red onion: Medium size, half – cut into thin slices
2. Carrots: Medium size, one – shredded
3. Green Bell pepper: Medium size, half- cut into thin slices
4. Ginger: 1-inch piece, chopped
5. Garlic: 6 cloves, chopped
6. Green chilies: 3 ea, chopped *You can change the number of chilies as per your taste
7. Spring Onions: 5 stems, chopped
8. Noodles, 2 x 100gm
9. Sesame Seeds: for garnish
Chicken Marinade-
1. Chicken: Boneless – skinless thighs, 4 pcs
2. Ginger: half inch piece, chopped
3. Garlic: 2 cloves, chopped
4. Soy Sauce: 1 tablespoon
5. Fish Sauce: ¼ tablespoon
6. Orange Juice: 1 shot glass, 1.5 oz
7. Salt, to taste
Sauce Mix-
1. Red Chili sauce: 1 tablespoon *You can reduce this to half tablespoon for a milder version
2. Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
3. Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
