Delicious chicken curry with minimal prep!
Honest Cooks brings to you delectable one-pot chicken curry. This curry is so versatile that it can be enjoyed with rice or naan, alike. Or, you can serve this as part of an elaborate friends and family dinner! The marination makes the chicken oh-so tender, and the gravy is packed full of flavor! What's more? You can substitute the chicken for any other meat and the curry will still pack a punch!
Here are the ingredients:
Chicken thighs, bone in: 1.5 lb
Red onion, medium: 1pc
Tomato, medium: 1pc
Ginger: 3 inch pc
Garlic: 8-10 cloves
Green chilies: 3-4 pcs
Yogurt: 1 cup
Cilantro: for garnish
Spices:
a. Bayleaf, whole: 2
b. Cinnamon stick: 1
c. Black cardamom: 2
d. Dry fenugreek leaves: 2 teaspoons
e. Turmeric: 2 teaspoons
f. Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
g. Coriander powder: 2 teaspoons
h. Garam Masala: 1 tablespoon
i. Chicken Masala mix: 1 tablespoon
Note: To make the Chicken Masala Mix, mix equal quantities of Turmeric, Dry Mango powder, mace powder, dry ginger powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, nigella seeds, and black salt.
